Here at BQ Broadside we have decided to start an advice column, and I am very excited to be the writer for this section! I have decided to stay anonymous for the time being, or at least as anonymous as I can until I inevitably accidentally reveal myself, so I will be writing under an alias for now (I am not sure on the name yet though, so if you have any suggestions let us know)!
The purpose of this column is to talk about our school community and overall, you! Therefore, if you have any questions or want to submit something, I strongly encourage you to share! Do you have any drama going on, whether it be with friends, family, or teachers? Any stressful or emotional issue in your life that you want to talk about? Or just any general wild story that happened to you or someone you know that you want us to react to? We want to hear from you! Each month the club will send out a survey and if you have any questions or stories that you would like to share we would love to hear it, even if you don’t want us to publish anything about it. Also, should you give us any names we will make sure to change them (including your own) to ensure anonymity. Overall, we want to provide a safe space for you to share and to bring our school together, so if you are curious about providing any stories or issues that you are seeking advice for, we will send out an email and online survey within the first week of this article’s release with more information. We also hope to have a physical box stationed somewhere in the school for paper submissions, so the email will also include information about that.
