The spookiest month of the year is here, and McDonald’s Boo Buckets are back again for Halloween! The Boo Buckets, which serve as trick-or-treating buckets, are part of the iconic Happy Meals, and return this October in 4 monster designs, with themed sticker sets. They will be available in all locations nationwide beginning October 15th, while supplies last.
First introduced in 1986, the Boo Buckets were a Happy Meal staple for several years until they vanished in 2016. Following their prolonged absence, the buckets made an awaited return in October 2022. They also returned last year, and now, McDonald’s is shaking up its color scheme for this coming Halloween season. Last year, there were white, green, orange, and purple buckets. This year, they all return except for the purple buckets, which have been replaced with blue. Also, this year’s models are more sophisticated, giving customers, especially kids, the freedom to customize their buckets however they wish.
